i think i've lost it

so… i was installing a ground cable to my trailer today. i know. sounds kinda…well…rednck-ish. is redneck acceptable? maybe hick, country bumpkin? or do they prefer rural-american? i digress, sort of. any ways. as i was tightening the cable down, i saw a spider. so, being the nature lover that i am, i tried to kill it with my screwdriver. time goes by. i feel the urge to smoke (i know, it’s bad for me. boo hoo). as i’m standing there, i see a spider that looks remarkably similar to the one i tried to kill earlier. i began to apologize to the spider when i realized that: 1) i was speaking out loud to a spider and 2) it might not be the same spider. i then told the spider “i’m sorry if that wasn’t you, but all arachnid-americans look alike to me”. now, is this the invasion of political correctness invading my life or is it possibly the change that barack obama was speaking of coming to fruition? i’m not sure. but i am pretty sure that i’m slowly losing my mind.
